A European–Sri Lankan family, a love for nature, and dogs. Led to one simple idea: turn the cinnamon wood around us into something natural for our four-legged friends.

The Beginning

Where the Story Starts

It started with a simple question: why are most commercial dog chews made from synthetic ingredients, shipped thousands of miles, wrapped in plastic — when the world's finest natural chewing material grows right here in our backyard?

Sri Lanka is the home of true Ceylon cinnamon, Cinnamomum verum, a species valued around the world for its distinctive aroma and naturally low coumarin content. Local farmers had been working these plots for generations. All that was missing was someone to turn that raw abundance into something dogs would love — and their owners could feel good about.

That's exactly what we set out to do. In a small workshop surrounded by cinnamon trees, with a handful of craftspeople and a trusted farming family by our side, Ceylon Dog Chew was born.

Our cinnamon comes from a single extended farming family who have tended these plots organically for three generations. We don't just buy from them — we plan with them, invest with them, and share the rewards with them.

We only take what nature can easily spare. For us, it’s simple: we want to protect the land so our dogs always have beautiful places to run and explore.

Nothing but Cinnamon

We don't like reading complicated labels, so we kept ours short: just pure cinnamon sticks. No hidden chemicals, no artificial nonsense. If we wouldn't give it to our dogs, we won't give it to yours.

Wasting Nothing

We hate unnecessary trash. From how we source the wood to the boxes we ship in, we make sure nothing goes to a landfill if it doesn't have to.

Our dogs are family and we know that yours is too, which is why we personally inspect every single piece of wood before shipping to make sure it's 100% safe for your dog.
